Members of the Plant Health Task Force of PROCINORTE will hold a one-day planning meeting at the Agricultural Research Service in Beltsville on September 26th.

The representatives of the member countries, Drs. Bev Fravel (ARS/USDA), Gary Whitfield (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada) and Jose Lopez Arroyo (Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Forestales, Agrícolas y Pecuarias, Mexico) will discuss the sanitary issues –pest and diseases- that affect the main crops in Canada, Mexico and the United States. They will prepare a common agenda for scientific collaboration between the three institutes.
